That’s what the indian says answering to the white man who asks him why is living naked: “To me, everything is face.” The body in a non-fetishistic culture (for which  nudity is not an objective truth, as a fetish) is not opposed, like we do, to the face, the only full of expression, the only endowed by a glance: it is face too, and looks at you.
